Introducing Youth to the World
of AI and Flying Robots
This third part of the STEM program invites students to explore the world of artificial intelligence through the use of programmable drones. They’ll learn the basics of coding using the Python language while discovering how drones function and what their components are.
They’ll experiment with data collection, visual recognition, and the logic behind the algorithms that allow drones to “see,” analyze, and act. Through exciting and practical programming missions, students will develop essential technical skills while stimulating their creativity and critical thinking.
This dynamic and accessible immersion in a fast-growing field prepares young people to understand—and help shape—the technological world of tomorrow.
12 hours of instruction provided by Aviation Connection trainers, in collaboration with each school’s science and technology teachers.
- Fall or Winter session: 12 classes of 1.5 hours = 18 hours
- Groups of 20 to 30 students
- 1 drone per team of 2 to 3 students (10 drones total)
Students will learn:
- The basics of coding in Python
- The components of a drone
- Data collection and visual recognition
- Programming dynamic and stimulating missions
Developed in Partnership with Renowned Higher Education Institutions
